- This program features a variety of inspirational stories drawn from personal life experience as well as literature. The stories reflect various themes such as hope, courage, faith and love to uplift and inspire others. Especially appropriate for women's events, senior luncheons, and adult forums. (Approximately 50-60 minutes in length)
Working Our Way Through Grief and Loss
- In this program Marian presents an overview of the grieving process along with excerpts from her spiritual memoir, "Grace for Today, Hope for Tomorrow." Participants will benefit by gaining a better understanding of grief as well as helpful insight for supporting friends and loved ones who are grieving. Especially meaningful for Adult Education, Women's Ministry, Senior Ministry and Lay Ministry Teams. (Approximately 50-60 minutes in length)
Ministry in Daily Life: What is Your Calling?
- In this new program, Marian encourages participants to reflect on various callings in their lives, as well as sharing stories of discernment from her own life journey. Focusing on the many ways God has been active in their own experience, participants will gain a new perspective on how God is calling them to use their gifts and skills right where they are. (Approx 60-90 minutes in length)
Compassionate Care-giving
- In this program, Marian offers fresh insight into the importance of caring for ourselves as we care for others. Sharing insights from her own experience as well as from other resources, Marian presents a holistic approach to the ministry of care-giving. Especially meaningful for Pastoral Care Teams, Befrienders, Stephen Ministries, and Adult Education. (Approximately 60-90 minutes in length)
- In this creative program, Marian shares anecdotal stories of her Norwegian heritage. Using colorful excerpts from her Aunt's memoir, The Coffee Train, along with ancestral photos, Marian retells stories of her Scandinavian grandparents homesteading on the North Dakota prairie in the early 1900's. Especially appropriate for women's events and senior luncheons. (Approximately 50-60 minutes)
Walking Where Jesus Walked
- In this power point presentation, Marian shares pictures and personal reflections on her trip to the Holy Land. in November, 2011. Especially appropriate for adults and youth. (Approximately 50-60 minutes in length)
